Location tracking is relatively straightforward outdoors using GPS. Indoors, it is more challenging. Our Mandown systems therefore support not only GPS, but also location tracking based on Wi-Fi access points and Bluetooth beacons. This allows Mandown to guide emergency responders to the right location.

The central dashboard provides insight into the status and details of active and resolved alarms from the Mandown system. The console allows the operator to respond to incoming alarms by making contact or escalating them immediately.

Is the system easy for employees to use?

Yes, the system is very user-friendly. Employees only need to install the app on their phone, and the system runs in the background to keep them safe. The app can be installed on any smartphone or device, so there is no need to purchase new equipment. The system is easy to manage within your own organization.

What happens if an employee has no network coverage?

The system is designed to work both in areas with strong network coverage and in more remote locations. If 4G is unavailable, the lone worker alarm uses a Wi-Fi connection. The alert requires very little data, allowing it to be sent quickly even if a connection with very low bandwidth is only briefly available.
